You would never find two of the biggest WSU Coug fans to ever get married than Lucas + Mallory!
I was lucky enough to work with Mallory over 10 years ago when she was one of my first ever Maids of Honor and she even was a wedding guest, so I was so excited when she reached out after she got engaged to fellow WSU alum Lucas.
Dreaming of a winter wedding, we quickly got to work to find the perfect wedding venue and after a long search we landed on Chateau Lill in Woodinville, which also happened to be on her Pinterest board because of the fireplace that would become the backdrop of where Mallory and Lucas would exchange I Dos. Little did she know that “her perfect wedding venue” on her wedding board was Chateau Lill. I loved seeing her face when we first toured the venue and she saw the fireplace.
With a wine theme wedding with a beautiful color palette of crimson (one of WSU’s colors), navy blue, cream, green with gold accents, we enlisted the help of Shane with Oak + Fig Floral to create the perfect floral pieces. What I loved most of what he did was the incredible floral hoops he created for Mallory’s bridesmaids to carry down the aisle. I really hope more brides want to have their maids carry hoops!
To add to their winter wedding, we decided with a clear tent so guests could dine under the moonlight of this December evening illuminated by an array of candles.
To say this couple and their guests know how to have a good time is an understatement, dancing the night away until the very end.
