Etheral is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Luke + Laura's July Port Gamble wedding. An East Coast Bride and Washingtonian Groom, it was truly magical to see these two families come together for the love of this couple.
With soft color that lead to a romantic summer wedding, we were over the moon to get the opportunity to work with this couple nearly a year to the day to their wedding.
What we really loved about working with Laura is that she really gave thought to every detail to make sure it fit her theme and vision and in the end every decision she and Luke made made for an incredible wedding.
One of those major details was the wedding dress from The Dress Theory. The style was unbelievable and all other details stemmed from this garment and the best way to compliment it were the amazing floral creations by TJ of Garden Party Flowers.
This was the first time that we worked with TJ but not the last for 2015. In fact we worked with her two more times and both were for weddings at Port Gamble.
TJ is truly an artist when it comes to floral design and really enhanced the overall look for the wedding. From a gorgeous and elaborate display on an equally beautiful hand-crafted arbor by the bride's brother, this was the centerpiece for the ceremony.
One of the highlights of the day were the toasts and even though it kills me to write this, the Father of the Bride's toast was pretty great. With that said his present to the groom (a Seahawks fan as am I) was something it was painful to watch. As a loyal Patriots fan he had to rub it in how his team won the Superbowl with a framed autographed photo from the Superbowl, It was a great moment but very hard to see. And if you look closely at the photo below you can tell who are members of the bride's family.
