What can I say, but boy do we love doing Coug weddings. And by Coug, I mean Washington State University, home of the Cougars. And as a very proud alum I love when I get the opportunity to work with fellow Cougs in planning their weddings. Over the years we have done more than30 weddings where one or both members of the couple are Cougs so having Kara + Kyle and most of their bridal party was an absolute joy.
Booking us out close to a year in advance, Kara + Kyle had a clear vision for their April nuptials at Pickering Barn located in Issaquah, a phenomenal venue that we have worked over more than a dozen or so times.
With the color scheme of gold green and cream, this couple wanted to incorporate these colors into their decor, from the flowers, table elements and flowers.
What we loved most about working with this amazing couple was all of the love and support they had from all of their parents in planing this big day. From the bride's father constructing the beautiful arbor and the bride's mother who was a decoration genius to the bride's step-mother baking a delicious wedding cake.
This couple and their whole wedding team truly thought of everything from the boutonnieres with beer caps (genius!!!), to the personalized glasses they gave their guests as favors to the Black and Tan Ceremony during their acutaly nuptial to the stunning herb plants which served as decor down the aisle to their table centerpieces.
The couple and their guests danced away and it was such a magical April day and we couldn't be any happier for this Coug couple!.
