It’s not everyday you work with a bride twice before she became the bride, but Adriana has served as a EA bridesmaid and fiancé of the best man at another wedding,
I have been lucky to have known Adriana for nearly a decade when I served as her sorority advisor at Washington State University. We were then reunited 3 years after she graduated when she served as a bridesmaids which was only a few days after she herself got engaged.
Truthfully when we reconnected at that wedding I secretly wanted to be her planner. Flash forward 6 months later when the happy couple reached out and we went to work. The first thing was deciding whether or not to do a destination wedding in Leavenworth or stay closer to home. In the end the couple decided on an October wedding in the heart of the Sodo District at Within Sodo. It was the perfect venue for this couple complete with a scenic balcony.
Every detail from this wedding truly reflected the couple, from their choice of the lust luscious fall colors, flowers to their long row of reception tables. It truly felt like a intimate night for all those in attendance.
A touching moment for the couple happened shortly before the ceremony when Noah placed red roses on what would be his mother’s chair. She passed away a few years ago and I know he felt her presence there that day as no doubt she was watching him marry the love of her life. What was even more touching it was it his maternal grandfather who officiated the ceremony.
With a very large Coug presence, guests including myself were following along as our team had a monstrous win, the same day our small town of Pullman was featured on College Game Day. This victory was just the icing on top to a perfect wedding day.
Flash forward now almost 10 months later when again I will be reunited with Adriana and Noah and her beautiful family as we celebrate the wedding of her sister! I am so excited and August 15 cannot come soon enough! Then again we meet again a month later at another wedding of a sorority sister we are planning!
