And that’s it folks for 2021.
We started off the year with a Seattle rooftop intimate brunch wedding and ended with a fall wedding Port Gamble. This season was a little different as we worked with 11 of our couples who had postponed their 2020 nuptials to this year. For some of our couples we have been working with nearly 3 years so when we could finally have their day, there was a combination of happy tears and a sense of relief knowing that we made it and that they finally got to have their day!
There were so many highlights from our season that it’s hard to narrow just a few. I can honestly say every wedding we did this year left some incredible memories and lifelong friendships with our couples and vendors. We love watching our couples over the last 16 years grow and expand their families. The amount of babies that happened this year has been record breaking and I have a feeling next year may top this year.
We had so much fun working with our longtime vendor partners to create some incredible events in addition to meeting new vendors and excited to continue working with them next year.
Travelling became a new thing for us planning weddings in Alderbrook, Port Gamble, Zillah, and Walla Walla. We love our destination weddings and hope to continue with travelling in 2022. Anyone up to go to Maui, Mexico, or Europe?
In addition to our wedding planning, we even got to play with flowers as part of the floral team with Oak and Fig Floral and really got to see the magic that goes into creating some incredible floral pieces. Thank you, Shane, for allowing our team to be part of your team!
I really need to say a huge thank you to my assistant Tiphany. She first came onto the team last year and then this year she was a true rock star. She really helped so much including keeping me sane. I truly don’t know what I would do without her. I am so excited to see her new role with us in 2022 (stay tuned for more details).
