Lounge spaces are probably one of my favorite aspects of weddings because of their supreme functionality and, let's face it, they're super fun.
A cocktail hour is great with scattered bar-height tables for mingling, but it's nice to break up the space visually with lower seating as well. Grouping various love-seats, sofas, chairs and stools allows guests to mingle in a homey atmosphere - like they're making conversations with others in their own personal living room.
Lounges can range from extreme rustic with hay-bale seating and blankets; to simple industrial with stacked wooden palettes and throw pillows; to antique vintage with mismatched tufted chairs and old steamer trunks; to ultra modern with square stools or rectilinear metal and lucite tables. There are so many possibilities!
