What happens if your divorced or even married parents start to fight during the wedding? Because weddings can be stressful even for the parents of the bride and groom, tensions tend to run high and sometimes tempers get out of control.
In a case where an argument gets out of hand, the best solution is to isolate the situation so the bride and/or groom do not see anything happening as well as other wedding guests.
In a real life case, a divorced couple got into a heated discussion that started to escalate quickly and we jumped right in to diffuse the situation to remind the parents that this was a joyous occasion and that this was their child's day and that they needed to cool off and walk away.
In the end the bride and groom were none the wiser and the parents came to us and thanked us for helping.
