It was a beautiful late September day and the Elegant Affairs team was getting everything set up for our client’s reception, when we realized that the officiant hadn’t arrived yet at his confirmed arrival time.
The EA team immediately contacted him and determined he would not make the ceremony on time based on traffic.
Since both the DJ and EA’s Lead Planner Lori are ordained, we were able to go to the Bride and Groom and explain the situation AND, best of all, provide her with the solution. The DJ performed the ceremony, which we had the ceremony script in hand and the EA team helped with the music and queued the lineup. Everything started on time, and the ceremony went off without any issues.
