When we started planning Ashley + Justin's June Wedding at Laurel Creek Manor never in our wildest dreams would we have even considered implementing Plan B. With every outdoor wedding we plan we always have a Plan B and sometimes even a Plan C and this was one that we had two back ups for the ceremony just in chance Mother Nature didn't want to behave.
Luckily for us Laurel Creek offers great alternatives in case of rain. Watching the weather as we neared the wedding we knew that this could happen but I thought its June in Washington and we have been so lucky the last few years and was optimistic that the forecasters were wrong.
Wedding day came and the weather was a hit and miss but as the ceremony great closer we were crossing our fingers and our toes but just before the couple was set to say I Do the skies decided to open up. We made the decision to move the ceremony indoors and Janine from J9Bing was able to move the flowers from the pergola to inside creating a beautiful backdrop for our bride and groom.
And of course, after the couple was announced husband and wife, the sun came out and guests were able to dance, mingle and enjoy the night away.
One our favorite moments of the day was when Justin surprised his new wife with a beautiful slideshow. It was such a touching moment.
We are so happy for these two and so glad we had the opportunity to have worked with them.
