Highlights from Bridal Fashion Week

Happy Friday Brides-to-be (or girls who just love to check out a good wedding gown- because who doesn't!?)

What happens if you fall in love with two wedding dresses? Or what if you plan on letting loose during your reception and your current dress is going to be a bit too 'stiff'? After the ceremony, switch it up and throw on a reception dress, like a cute cocktail dress or trendy high-low dress. Party in the front, business in the back! A reception dress can not only be a fun surprise for your guests and groom, but can also be down right functional! That strapless dress, that was love at first sight, do you really want to be pulling it up while getting your groove on? No. Take it from us, its not cute.

Since I haven't gotten over the stunning looks from Bridal Fashion week a few weeks ago, I thought I would share a few reception style dresses that are just perfect for dancing the night away!

Wedding Dress Looks for 2017.

Lace, cap-sleeves, and capes, oh my! Bridal Fashion Week- where the top wedding designers debuted there bridal looks for Spring 2017. My verdict- all I can say is sheer genius! Gorgeous sheers gowns with tons of lace embellishments stole the show this year. Other top trends included cap-sleeves adorned with all the fixings (feathers included!). Apparently veils are so last season, as many designers opted for full on capes instead!

Of course, there is no need to go to crazy when it comes to your actual wedding. So I've pulled together a few of my favorite designer looks to give you a little inspiration! Enjoy!

Traditional Details

After attending my first wedding of the season this past weekend, I couldn't help but fall in love with the traditional details of the ceremony and reception. I was reminded how keeping your wedding details classic can create just as much as a 'wow' factor than a nontraditional wedding. So when it comes to the dress, consider going back to the basic's and choose a dress that's effortlessly stylish for generations to come. Remember, there's a reason why it's call it 'the classics.'
