Introducing our new Social Media Manager
Hi all, my name is Emily Andersen and I am excited to announce that I will be managing Social Media for Elegant Affairs. I found my way back to Elegant Affairs after 4 years working in Winery event planning and the corporate world. I originally interned with Lori as a fresh graduate of Washington State University in the summer of 2012. Lori taught me the ins and outs of a successful, beautiful wedding from start to finish, and how to enjoy every step of the way. As it became apparent over the last few years that my passion lies within creating a flawless events for others, my first thought instantly came to Lori and her Elegant Affairs team. This is a company and team that I am thrilled to begin working with again!
As the Social Media Manager, I hope to bring fresh, exuberant and creative ideas via multiple Social Media platforms to inspire beautiful weddings and other private events for anyone, anywhere. Every week, we will choose a different topic to explore through a unique lens. Throughout the week, we will deliver daily Instagram posts, and two blog posts highlighting a different aspect of the week’s focus. This week, we will dive into the colorful and diverse world of flowers. It can be difficult to find an aesthetically pleasing way to display floral décor that’s different and representative of your unique personality. Make sure to check in tomorrow when we elaborate further on our blog!

You’ve got the personalized wedding flask and you are ready to embrace your role! In order to be the best groomsman, here are a few simple etiquette tips you should follow.
Consider the Commitment: Being a groomsman can be both a time and financial commitment. Don’t say yes until you are sure you are available for the wedding. Also, take a look at your finances before saying yes. You can’t back out after you’ve already committed!
Pay Your Way: Once you’ve committed to being a groomsman, embrace the costs. Expect to at least buy/rent your suite for the wedding and pay for your share of the bachelor party.
Support the Groom: Your number one job is to support the groom! He asked you to stand with him on his wedding day for a reason so think about the him and his bride and how you can help celebrate this exciting time in their lives!
