Recap of the Seattle Wedding Show
When it came time to really start thinking about our 2016 Seattle Wedding Show booth design, we started to brainstorm concept and we all agreed that we wanted to keep it simple, clean and go with the theme of romantic bohemian.
One piece of decor we knew we had to do again this year were our floral crowns. It was such a hit among the brides we had to do it again. We changed up the style by going from a half to full floral crown.
Rachel came up with the idea of the hoop design with flowers which were made from wire floral hoops covered in twine with two types of eucalyptus (silver dollar and seeded), cedar (cut fresh from our floral supplier J9Bing owner Janine's yard), lemon leaf and two variety of garden roses, orchids and hypericum berries.
Another change we wanted to make from last year was having a more visible sign and we found this vintage window frame converted into a chalkboard. Again, thanks to Rachel she recreated our logo floral design and incorporated a little gold which I think made them truly pop.
For table decor we went with an antique door adored with a lush garland and rose gold sequin runner. I found these rose gold candlesticks from Pier One Imports and the votives and uniquely shaped gold chargers. What I loved most about these chargers were that they matched all of our marketing materials. The gold flatware from Cort Rentals added just the right amount of flare.
Again using the same shape of our marketing materials and chargers, I created a water color effect menu and place cards in a blush tone.
The great white chairs were taken straight out of Rachel's dining room and we added a bit of color with the greenery wreaths.
Overall the show's attendants really were taken with our attention to detail and we loved hearing brides say, "This is how I envisioned my wedding." That's when I knew we had a winner.
